After a weekend full of holiday cooking, I have a few holiday recipes to share with you in the coming weeks. Tis the season, right?! But before we jump into those, I wanted to recap a few of my favorite recipes of Christmas past. From the most delicious gingerbread cake and classic sugar cookies to a fun holiday cranberry cocktail and yummy hot cocoa cookies, these are just a few of the best recipes of Christmas.
Happy Cyber Monday, friends! Have you started your holiday shopping yet? I am happy to say that I have just one more thing to buy and it’s not even December yet. That’s definitely a new record for me! I took advantage of a lot of the Black Friday and Small Business Saturday sales, but there is still one day of sales left: Cyber Monday!
Happy Black Friday, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I just wanted to stop in and share a few of the Best Black Friday sales of the year. It seems like a lot of sales have been going on for a few days already, but here are the latest promotions retailers are running:
Black Friday Sales

Have you started your holiday shopping yet? I am hoping to get everything done this weekend so that’s one less thing to think about as we inch closer and closer to Christmas! Happy shopping and see you back here on Monday!
Happy almost Thanksgiving, friends! If you are anything like me, you don’t know exactly what you will wear tomorrow. Although I have a few ideas, the one thing I know for sure is that it will be comfortable! Before I round up a few holiday essentials under $100 and talk a bit about a few sales that have already started, I wanted to share four looks that are easy to recreate for last minute Thanksgiving outfit ideas!
It may be difficult to think about right now, but come Friday, leftovers will be filling most of our refrigerators. Each year, I like to share a recipe that is perfect for using up all those leftovers. Today it’s all about Thanksgiving leftovers: turkey pot pie edition!
Happy Monday, friends! Can you believe it’s Thanksgiving week? Before the craziness of Thanksgiving and holiday sales begin, I wanted to share one more non-holiday post with you. Although this vest could be styled for the holidays and the rest of winter, I am sticking with fall accessories one last time. I have always loved vests for an extra layer in the fall and winter (like the monogrammed vest from this post and the cropped faux fur vest from this post), but this faux fur leopard vest was too good to pass on when I saw it in stores a few months ago.
A pink ruffle skirt. Could there be a more perfect piece for the lover of all things pink? I had shared this skirt in a Wednesday Wishes back in September and knew it had to be mine. Although it is available in a few colors, I couldn’t miss out on the chance to wear a bright pink ruffle skirt.
Happy Wednesday! Keeping your skin hydrated is so important as the colder temperatures arrive. Today I am back with my third and final fall skincare post with Orogold Cosmetics. In my first two posts I highlighted the sensitive skin collection, complete with serums, face and eye creams and a daily cleanser. But today, I am featuring four products from the 24K White Gold Collection. As much as I love the sensitive skin collection for my face, I am completely smitten by the body butter, hand cream, body scrub and body oil.
When it comes to fall desserts, pecan pie takes the cake (and pie). Pecan pie is delicious anytime of the year, but there is something special about enjoying a slice around Thanksgiving and Christmas. In the spirit of the holidays, I wanted to come up with a way to enjoy this favorite pie in a different way. Enter the most delicious pecan pie cookies.
The one color I have been loving since the beginning of fall is rust. And as much as I have loved the color all season, this is the first piece I’ve purchased in this shade. Better late than never I guess! This rust tie sleeve sweater will be a staple for the rest of the season.
