Happy Friday, friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve done a beauty round-up (maybe this time last year?!) so I thought it was time to share not only some of my recent favorite finds, but a few misses, too. Here are my latest beauty finds: hits and misses!

While I typically associate the color blush with spring, I have been noticing so many blush pieces lately. I thought it was time to create a color inspiration board with a color I’m crushing on for summer! What I love most about these pieces is that the color varies from the typical blush color. While the blush is present, there are some peachy and mauve tones in these items that make them a little different from the usual blush. I love this contrast and I think it works well for styling outside of the traditional blush season of spring. Here are some of my favorite summer blush crush pieces…
Must-Have Spring Cardigan
At the beginning of spring, I shared a list of my 3 must-have layers for spring (post here). I have re-styled the utility jacket countless times (last seen here) and today I am re-styling my favorite spring cardigan. The color, lightweight style and length are just a few of the reasons why this is a must-have spring cardigan.

I know I have been talking a lot about spring in the past few weeks in my inspiration posts, but I feel like I canĀ almost justify it now: the high tomorrow here in D.C. is going to be in the 70s! I know it won’t be sticking around, but this sneak peek of warmer temperatures makes me so excited for spring. And since I have been looking forward to spring since the first of January, I have already started adding pieces to my spring wardrobe (you can see last week’s post about what I’m buying for spring here). But just because these are “spring” pieces, doesn’t necessarily mean you have to wait until spring to wear them. Today, I’m talking about how to wear spring pieces now and later when spring eventually arrives.
