The t-shirt dress. I have always loved how comfortable and casual a t-shirt dress is, especially in the warmer temperatures. The perfect weekend look, this camo t-shirt dress will be easy to wear the rest of summer and even into the fall.

It’s Fall Y’all!
It’s fall y’all! The temperatures dropped on Friday and Saturday and it actually started to feel like fall here in Virginia. Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to grab a few of my fall favorites. This oversized fall monogrammed sweater and suede ankle booties make for a cozy and casual fall look.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s
It is safe to say that my love for statement sleeves runs pretty deep. I have shared quite a few statement sleeves this fall, and this purple ruffle sleeve top is the latest in my ever-growing collection. I wore this outfit two weekends ago to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Kendra Gives Back event with Kendra Scott. Given the event, the outfit would not be complete without purple and a few Kendra Scott pieces.
Grey Bell Sleeve Sweater
If fall is anything like this summer to fall transitioning time, my fall wardrobe is going to be pretty heavy on the sleeve show. Bell sleeves, statement sleeves, I can’t get enough! I spotted this grey bell sleeve sweater during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and knew it had to be mine. I mean, look at the sleeves!
Styling One Jacket, Two Ways
For Work: ruffle chino jacket | pocket blouse | wide leg pants | color block pumps | lipstick | necklace | tote
For Play: ruffle chino jacket | green tee | camo pants | beige flats | crossbody tassel bag | earrings | lipgloss
With the start of September only two days away, I am totally in a fall state of mind. Bring on the layers, jackets and autumn colors! Whether it’s dressing casually or dressed up for work, there are certain versatile pieces in my closet that I love wearing for both, especially in the fall. Today’s post is dedicated to styling one jacket, two ways.
Fall Floral Blouse
It has been unseasonably cool here in the D.C. area the past few days. Very uncharacteristic for August, but I won’t complain! I spotted this fall floral blouse during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and loved the darker colors. This weekend’s weather presented the perfect opportunity to break out the fall colors for this summer to fall transitional look.
Lilac Ruffle Sleeve Cardigan
I am sure you are starting to sense a common theme around here. Yes, I will confess. I have a ruffle problem. And the funniest thing is until last year, I never really liked them! Ruffles of the past, in my opinion, were over the top girly and often seemed overwhelming. Which I realize is ironic since this lilac ruffle sleeve cardigan has some pretty big sleeves.
Chambray Bow Shorts
I Love My Dog
Happy almost Friday, friends! Graphic shirts have been all the rage but I really haven’t jumped on this “trend train” until recently. My first real graphic tee was this blonde tee that I shared in this post a few months ago. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of plastering brand names and logos all over my clothing and accessories and I think that is probably why in the past I have shied away from this trend. But, when a saying has a special meaning to me or is completely and totally relatable, I wear it loud and proud! Needless to say this particular sweatshirt couldn’t be more perfect.
