Hi friends! I apologize for the lack of posts last week. We were in Pittsburgh last weekend and with a crazy week at work, I totally lost track of the week. Speaking of Pittsburgh, here is a Steelers-inspired outfit featuring a must-have for anyone going to a football game this season: the perfect clear bag for NFL games.

Happy Friday, friends! Changing up this week’s posting schedule to correspond with Sephora’s Holiday Sale that starts today for Rouge members! Four Sweater Styles to Add to Your Closet This Fall
Since it seems that the cooler temperatures are here to stay, I thought it was time to round up four sweater styles to add to your closet this fall. While this post looks a little different from my other “fall trends” posts this season, these are four of fall’s hottest sweater trends:
Loaded Baked Potato Pizza
If you have been following along for awhile now, you probably already know that in the McCarthy household, we eat pizza on Fridays. It has been a tradition for over 8 years and is something we look forward to each week. I love coming up with different recipes each week. You can see the entire collection of pizza recipes here. This loaded baked potato pizza has been on repeat lately.
Leopard Sweater Under $30
Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Our weekend was spent recovering from Orangetheory Hell Week (if you missed last Thursday’s post, I talked about it there). The majority of the weekend was spent in workout clothes for OTF and casual, comfortable clothes for errands and just being around the house. However, last week I wore this green leopard sweater for a stop at our favorite local winery and it was the perfect fall look. You can’t beat a leopard sweater under $30 that is easy to throw on for a casual weekend look.
Vibrant Fall Floral Dress
This fall, I have been loving florals. I have jumped on the fall floral bandwagon in previous years, but this year, the florals are different. This year’s fall florals are not your standard fall colors. The shades are in some cases, brighter like this dress or moodier like the florals in this post. I picked up this vibrant fall floral dress before we headed to Boston back in September and have styled it for early fall with sandals and now with over the knee boots.
Fall Trends: Capes, Jackets & Outerwear
1. colorblock faux fur coat | 2. stripe faux fur coat | 3. tweed topcoat | 4. leopard puffer jacket | 5. blanket stripe cape | 6. check wool blend coat | 7. quilted hooded parka | 8. faux fur jacket | 9. teddy sherpa colorblock topcoat
The season of jackets, coats and outwear is just about here! Today, I am continuing my fall trends series (see a complete list of posts below) with capes, jackets and other outerwear. There are so many great fall trends in the outerwear category this season. It’s not your traditional black topcoat anymore! Don’t get me wrong — a black topcoat is still perfect, I have several! However, there are a lot of colors, prints and faux fur to be worn this fall. Here are my fall trends: capes, jackets & outerwear!
How to Create a Fall Cheese Board
One of my favorite appetizers to make when we have company over is a cheese board. It’s easy to throw together, delicious, and can really be customized to you and your company’s preferences. With the change of seasons, I thought it would be fun to make a cheese board that included some fall flavors. Here is how to create a fall cheese board:

I wore this look to George Washington’s Mount Vernon Fall Wine Festival last Saturday and it was the perfect fall look for an evening wine tasting. So many highlights in this outfit, where do we start?! First up, this must-have cozy sweater for fall.
