Caramel Apple Granola
If you have been following along for awhile, you probably have caught some of my other granola recipes. I love adding granola to my vanilla yogurt so I am always thinking of new ingredients. I started with the original recipe (here) and have made seasonal changes like peanut butter granola and most recently, carrot cake granola. For fall, I wanted something that really represented the flavors of the season. Caramel Apple Granola sounded fitting.
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Now that it is October and pumpkin season is in full swing, I thought it was a great opportunity to incorporate another pumpkin recipe into the mix. After making these pumpkin waffles a few weeks ago, I’ve been on a real pumpkin kick. I don’t want to say pumpkin overload, but I feel like I’ve been consuming a lot of pumpkin lately. But what better time of the year for it! I’m also excited to share this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie in picture and video form!
Homemade Pumpkin Waffles
Welcome to pumpkin season! I am taking full advantage of the fall season and cooking up a few of my pumpkin favorites. Last year, I made these pumpkin rolls with caramel frosting as a sweet breakfast treat. But this year, I wanted to try my hand at something a little more from scratch. I always like to share quick and easy recipes with you, but I thought that since this was a simple recipe, it would be fun to kick off the pumpkin season with homemade pumpkin waffles.
Peanut Butter Power Bars
It’s no secret that my love for peanut butter runs pretty deep. I eat it at least once a day and I am always look for excuses to eat more. Peanut butter power bars were always my go-to snack while playing college tennis. Now, they are my favorite pre- and post-workout snack. Last weekend, my mom and I decided to remake the power bar recipe from college and switch up the ingredients. Since we lost the original recipe, it was a good excuse to create our own. As much as I loved the power bars in college, I am completely addicted to this new peanut butter power bar version.

Carrot Cake Granola
One of my go-to snacks is yogurt with granola and fresh fruit. It’s the perfect size for a mid-day snack and it isn’t too unhealthy. I have shared two other granola recipes {you can see the original homemade granola HERE and the peanut butter granola HERE} and they have been such a hit, I thought I would experiment with different flavors. I had wanted to come up with a granola that would work well with vanilla yogurt and a granola that would not require incorporating fruit on top. After some brainstorming, I came up with this carrot cake granola that is not only delicious, but much healthier than the actual cake itself. And, as far as taste goes, it’s pretty close match to real carrot cake, too! Check out this easy, homemade granola recipe below.
