I honestly don’t think I can think of a better color and pattern combination! After sharing one of fall’s hottest color trends last week (you can see the post here), I am back today with another fall trend. This time, it’s two trends for fall: a color and pattern. I know we are still in the first part of August, but place this is the “save for later” category. Truthfully, I only started thinking about fall clothes this past week. Overall, the summer hasn’t been too hot in D.C., but this past week has been brutal. The humidity has to be between 90% and 95% with temperatures in the 90s. Needless to say I’m ready for the cooler temperatures! I was reflecting back on some of my favorite ways to start incorporating more fall-like pieces into my wardrobe by late August. While this sale is the best sale of the year, it can be overwhelming. I will be sharing several posts during the sale to cover everything, but today is all about the top 20 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finds. All black everything. A go to combination all winter long, this outfit is one of my favorite dressed up casual looks. You may be a little distracted by my hair because it was all over my face for the majority of these pictures. These four were the only decent ones! While brainstorming post titles for today’s post, all I could think of was “hey, wind” or “trying to take pictures in the wind”. Ironically enough, these pictures were taken on the same day, one street over from Monday’s post pictures and the wind was completely fine. But, I digress.
