It is hard to believe Easter is just a little over a week away. It is even more difficult to believe given the cold temperatures and snowy forecasts we have here in D.C. Deviled eggs can be a year round food (they have even been popping up on restaurant menus around here lately!) but they seem especially fitting for Easter. And while the traditional deviled eggs are always a crowd favorite, I wanted to mix it up this year and share deviled eggs, three ways!
With all the talk of New Year’s Eve in yesterday’s post with the Raspberry Sorbet Mocktails, I thought today would be all about what to wear on New Year’s Eve. We will be spending our New Year’s Eve at home this year, but if you are heading out and are looking for some last minute outfit ideas, here are a few of my favorite festive outfit from the past few years.
Happy Wednesday and welcome back, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Nothing like jumping into the next holiday with a festive drink for New Year’s Eve: a raspberry sorbet mocktail.Read More

We are going to fast forward slightly to New Year’s for one post because the reality is, New Year’s Eve is just around the corner too! I usually share dressed up New Year’s Eve outfit inspiration each year, but realized that I usually fall into the “at home” category so I thought I would share outfit inspiration for that as well. Let’s be honest, I will be lucky to even make it to the ball drop and will probably set an alarm for 11:55 p.m. like I did last year! Here is this year’s New Year’s Eve Outfit Inspiration: on the town & at home!Read More
We are getting down to the wire when it comes to picking up those last minute Christmas gifts. If you are still searching for a gift for that “hard to buy for” person on your list, homemade gifts are the perfect idea. I have made these homemade Christmas gifts with peppermint bark a few times and they are always a hit!
Can you even believe that Christmas is a week from today? Since we are quickly approaching the holiday, I wanted to share this year’s Christmas Eve dress with you in today’s post. It has always been a tradition to get dressed up on Christmas Eve and this emerald green dress might just be my favorite Christmas Eve dress yet.
If you haven’t heard, pink is my favorite color. And although I have always loved pink, I have upped my pink game in the last few weeks. From this ruffle skirt (which is on sale for under $60) in this post to the hot pink sweater with faux fur pockets in last week’s post, my closet seems to be getting more pink by the day. Needless to say when I saw this pink faux fur jacket, I knew it had to be added to my ever growing collection.

Happy Wednesday, friends! Since last year’s 50 gifts under $50 post (you can see that here) was super popular, I couldn’t let the holiday season pass without sharing one for this year. I’ve rounded up the best 50 gifts that are all under that $50 price tag. And of course I stuck with a color theme! From blush pink to magenta and everything in between, these gifts are perfect stocking stuffers or gifts for your sister or friends. Since there are so many products, I tried to break down the items by shade so it is easier to view. You can also scroll down to the bottom of the post and click directly on the product picture! Without further ado, here is this year’s 50 gifts under $50!
One of the things I look forward to most on Christmas morning are the breakfast casseroles. I know, it probably sounds crazy, but this is one of the few mornings that it seems alright to indulge in the “not so healthy” breakfast foods. My mom usually makes a french toast bake and egg casserole, both of which are fan favorites. I thought I would take my mom’s usual egg casserole recipe and make a few changes, including adding hash browns, for a different spin. The hash browns were the perfect addition! This new Christmas breakfast casserole might just be the new go-to on Christmas morning.
