I had actually planned to wear this gorgeous navy velvet jacket to a Christmas party on Saturday evening, but I didn’t want the falling snow to ruin the velvet! Happy Wednesday, friends! How is your holiday shopping going? I say this every year, but my dad and husband are always the hardest for me to buy for. Maybe it’s because they never ask for ANYTHING! As I hinted at in last week’s recap of the Best Christmas recipes, I have a serious love for gingerbread. Last year, I made this Gingerbread Cake with Sugared Cranberries. It was so delicious and a fun spin on the traditional cookie. This year, I wanted to go back to the classic and share gingerbread cookies on a new level with the cutest set. They truly are the ultimate gingerbread cookies!
Since the beginning of fall, I have had it in my head that I needed a velvet dress for the holidays. I have always been a fan of velvet and was so excited to see that it was going to be trendy for fall and winter.
