A couple of months ago, I wore this gorgeous burgundy dress as a transitional piece (post here). I paired it with a chambray shirt for a top and skirt effect. Now that the fall temperatures have arrived, I am styling it with a light-weight long sleeve tee. This dress and tee are perfect fall layers for work.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s
It is safe to say that my love for statement sleeves runs pretty deep. I have shared quite a few statement sleeves this fall, and this purple ruffle sleeve top is the latest in my ever-growing collection. I wore this outfit two weekends ago to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Kendra Gives Back event with Kendra Scott. Given the event, the outfit would not be complete without purple and a few Kendra Scott pieces.
Brown is the New Black

Happy Wednesday, friends! I’m back with an all new color focused Wednesday Wishes. This color palette might just be one of my favorites! I’ve shared a few color inspiration posts this fall: from green (post here) to blue (post here) to a fall favorite, rust (post here). But one trend for fall that I have been particularly loving are shades of brown. From cognac to chocolate, it’s safe to say that brown is the new black.
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Now that it is October and pumpkin season is in full swing, I thought it was a great opportunity to incorporate another pumpkin recipe into the mix. After making these pumpkin waffles a few weeks ago, I’ve been on a real pumpkin kick. I don’t want to say pumpkin overload, but I feel like I’ve been consuming a lot of pumpkin lately. But what better time of the year for it! I’m also excited to share this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie in picture and video form!
Monogrammed Puffer Vest
Hello Fall! The temperatures dropped over the weekend and I have to say, it was chilly! No complaints here though. I have been waiting for fall for months! I thought it would be a few weeks until I could share this monogrammed puffer vest with you. But, with the chilly temperatures over the weekend, it was the perfect excuse to layer up with the cutest puffer vest.
Orange Ruffle Shawl
After temperatures near 90 for the past week, the cooler weather that is on the horizon has me oh so excited. Not only will it be wonderful to have a break from this heat, I am more than ready for my fall clothes to stick around. Layers, boots, there are so many exciting things headed our way! When I spotted the orange ruffle shawl from cabi’s newest arrivals (now available!) adding it to my closet was a no-brainer. Not only did I love the ruffle, but that orange color! It was way too good to miss out on.
Black and Leopard Outfit Inspiration

I know, more leopard! After receiving a few comments on Monday’s black and leopard combination, I wanted to share more inspiration. I have been a fan of leopard for years, but this fall, the print is bigger than ever. The black and leopard outfit inspiration is a chic way to style fall pieces in your closet and your home.
Sheet Pan Eggplant Parmesan
Happy Tuesday! If you have been following along for the past few weeks, you know I have been having a moment with sheet pan dinners. During the weekdays, I am all about these quick and easy meals. Especially when they have an easier and quicker clean up! I gave this sheet pan eggplant Parmesan a try and it was such a hit, I’m making it again for dinner tonight!
Bell Sleeves and Leopard Accessories
Bell sleeves and leopard accessories. Two of my favorite things in one look! When I first spotted this top from cabi’s newest arrivals, I instantly fell in love with this clean, crisp bell sleeve top. And what better to accessorize than with my go-to neutral: leopard!
Fall Floral Dress
Fall florals. I haven’t always loved florals in the fall, but it’s really growing on me this season. This was the last dress that I purchased ahead of NYFW and I instantly fell in love with it’s print and midi length. Although it’s technically an off the shoulder number, I decided to pair this fall floral dress with my go-to faux leather jacket for an early fall look.
