You may remember a few weeks ago when I shared these pearl embellished sandals in a Wednesday Wishes splurge vs. save post. Now that the summer temperatures (we skipped spring here in the D.C. area!) have arrived, I couldn’t wait to pull them out of the box!
At the end of February, I started a new bimonthly series where I would share the most popular products from the past two months, picked by you, the readers! These are the most clicked products from the past two months. You can see the January and February round-up here. It’s hard to believe it’s time for another round-up, but here are the most popular products from March and April:
Happy Wednesday, friends! I think we can all agree that these “spring” temperatures are not cutting it — we have gone from the 80s over the weekend to a freeze warning last night! Since spring has barely arrived in some parts of the country, it’s ironic that there are a ton of spring pieces already on sale! We might as well take advantage of these sales and stock our closets full of pretty spring and summer pieces. We will be able to wear them eventually! Here are a few of my favorite spring styles currently on sale…
This spring, I have been sticking to a lot of basics. Blame it on the crazy weather, but I haven’t bought too many spring pieces because I really haven’t had a chance to wear them! Keeping with classic pieces like my go-to jeans, long cardigan and white shirt are a great way to create an easy black and white outfit for spring.
While spring has arrived in many places, spring decided to take a break over the weekend here in D.C. Temperatures were in the 30s Sunday morning! However, I think most places are suffering from strange spring temperatures. Even in the south! I wore this fun, tropical-inspired spring dress is Austin this past weekend. It was hot and in the high 80s on Friday and made for the perfect brightly colored piece for the warm, spring temperatures. Maybe Texas can send us some of those temperatures!
One of the most popular series on ABM is back! It has been awhile since I have shared a new splurge vs. save, but with a new season, I thought it would be fun to dedicate this week’s Wednesday Wishes to splurge vs. save: spring trends!
Jeans are a closet staple no matter what the season. But, during this awkward time while we wait for the real spring temperatures to arrive, I find myself reaching for my jeans a ton. They are perfect for the cooler weather and easy to pair with sweaters and tops. With so many different types of jeans to pick from, these are my 3 must have jeans for spring…
There is nothing like yellow in the springtime. Yellow is one color that seems to be present in spring pieces year after year, regardless of trends. However, this year more than ever, yellow can be found just about anywhere. Purple may be the color of the year, but this bright and cheerful shade is definitely giving purple a run for it’s money. Here is some spring yellow outfit inspiration for today’s Wednesday Wishes…
With what was hopefully our one and only snowstorm behind us, I’m ready to break out the early spring neutrals! Today I am mixing a few of my favorite neutral pieces in my closet to create the ultimate early spring neutral outfit.
Yesterday was the first day of spring, but you wouldn’t know it here in the D.C. area! We made it through February with about 2 inches of snow but we have already made up for it today. Even with the snowy forecast, it will not stop me from dreaming of warmer temperatures and spring dresses. I have been on a serious hunt for dresses lately. Between weddings, work and vacation, I have been looking for quite a few styles. Can you believe I have had virtually no luck in this dress quest?! Maybe it’s too early in the season, but finding cute and affordable spring dresses has been a challenge. However, I have managed to pull together the twelve best spring dresses under $150 that I have found. From mini, midi and maxi dresses to dresses with cute details like a tie front, here are my favorite affordable spring dresses…
