It’s hard to believe fall is just around the corner. Where did summer go? Each fall, I like to take a look at colors that are trending for the new season. While burgundy, olive green and cognac will always be considered fall colors, over the next few weeks I will be looking at other, not so assuming, colors to wear this autumn. It’s not a surprise that Pantone’s Color of the Year has made it’s way to fall. However, the great thing about this lavender shade is that you can start wearing it now! Welcome to August, friends! It’s always around the first of August I start to think about fall even though fall temperatures are still pretty far away. As much as I love picking up all the fall layers and essentials, I also try to be practical with some purchases. Pieces that can be styled now for the warmer temperatures and later in the cooler temperatures are not only versatile, but also practical.
